Jonathan Guzman signs with Pelicanos of Puntarenas of the costa rican league

The former Cerritos College basketball star has inked a one-season deal with Pelicanos of Puntarenas of the div 1 Costa Rican pro league.

Jonathan is a talented young man, who is physically strong, can play offensively on multiple positions, and defend variably.

In the Puntarenas news release, Guzman said he’s ready to get to work.

“Guzman will be a strategic piece of our team. we are looking for a versatile player who can be impactful on both sides of the court.”  

 Pelicano’s head coach Rodolfo Fonseca said in a news release.
